Default No boot after installing ESET Smart Security 5

First of all, Hi to everybody.

My Name is Michael and I installed ESET Smart Security 5 for the firt time.

I downloaded the new version and installed it.
All doing well.

If I start the PC now, it wont come up.
All I see is the Windows XP Logo and the the Blue Line moves again and again.
But nothing happens and the system wont come up.
If I start in safe mode and look into eventviewer, nothing to find about any error.

Systeminformation:
Windows XP Professional (32bit) SP 3
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600
4 GB Ram

Hope anyone have an idea what the problem is.

Thanks to all and have a nice day.

Michael

Default Re: No boot after installing ESET Smart Security 5

Hello,

Are you able to start the computer in Safe Mode by repeatedly tapping the F8 key as the computer starts up?

Regards,

Aryeh Goretsky
