Real-time file system protection and personal firewall not working.

After i downloaded the newest BF3 patch i noticed that my smart security Real-time file system protection and personal firewall not working.

There was no button to allow me to enable it and when i try to uninstall/repair it won't let me with a "warning 1910" and "getlasterror 5"

Is there a fix for this?

I have tried the steps found here but with no success.

Error 5 is a permission problem. Try uninstalling ESS in safe mode as per the instructions here and install the latest version from scratch.

It managed to uninstall the program but when i install again it says "warning 1909" even though i am the admin. However it managed to install after those warnings so i hope it will be fine now.
