Question Take Ownership issue

Hi

i did a mistake

under w7 ,absentmindedly, confusedly ,i clicked on my xp partition (right click) and take Ownership

and i did on my w7 partition too

it did open a dos windows and it closed after few seconds
not messages , or eta or something else

only a blink dos windows , that closed after 1 second

did i mess up my xp and w7?
is there a cure?
can i fix it

No you did not mess up your Windows XP or Windows 7 Partitions

That action only gave Your Account Administrative Permissions to take Ownership of the files if and when needed.
Ownership of the files on those partitions will now Toggle between System and Your Account, System always having
the Priority and Final Say if you will.

If you are concerned simply Edit the NTFS Permissions for those two partitions, find your Account Name in the List
and Edit Your Account Name and Untic (remove the check mark from the box) 'Take Ownership'

NTFS = New Technology File System
