I just noticed that the Exchange Client Extensions page within the Add-ins page in Outlook is asking if I want to install ESET Outlook plug-in. I do not use Microsoft Exchange, and I noticed in the help forums that this plug often leads to errors. Am I missing some email protection by not installing this add-in on the two computers on my home network?

Just because it causes errors on some config does not necessarily mean it will cause any issues on your machine. So try it. If you decide against it then Eset will still protect your comp via its realtime protection

I've never had a problem with the ESS Outlook Anti-Virus Add-on in v4, v4.2 or v5.
I've removed the ESS Outlook Anti-Spam Add-on though. I've no use for it. |

My Outlook 2007 add-in manager just asks if I want to install ESET Outlook plug-in for ESET 4.2.4. No mention of anti-virus or anti-spam add-ins. Anyone know what feature the outlook plug-in provides?
