I have a Webroot Internet Security Essentials 2011 license that is not yet installed/activated. Will this license work on WSA Essentials 2012?

But, I suspect this only applies to licenses for boxed retail software, as I also have a license purchased electronically, which doesn't seem to work now.

Officially it SHOULD work if it's a valid license key.
Unfortunately a lot of keys were not valid. For example, a bunch of keys that showed up at various online places were stolen from Best Buy, and some were 90-day free trials that were sold as full copies to dozens of people. You can always check with support on the status of a key. |
