First i have to thank my Windows DVD because it always does a great job at refreshing my builds. Emsisoft has been great in all the PC's i have it installed during 2011 (In 2010 i did have a bug that was fixed in 24 hours but still ), works great on my dads laptop, my friends laptop and my secure OS.

On my bro's side, thanks Norton for the trials HAHAHAHA and AVG Free which is doing wonders on his netbook (Light!) and also a big thanks to TrendMicro (Which might not be the best but on my bros laptop it performs smoothly)

PS. My bro does not have 2 AV's installed, he had TrendMicro before and now AVG

Sandboxie
Shadow Defender

Those two are permanent fixtures
Also have OA++ set up to run all internet facing apps as Run Safer and locked down to be an AntiExecutable. Nothing gets past that and it runs as light as a feather.

Also play with WRSA but not totally sold on that yet

Autoruns helped me disable a bad driver entry that was causing boot to take forever on a friend's machine.

Sandboxie and Macrium for me as always...

Sandboxie is a program that allows users to run applications in virtualized environments, separate from the rest of their system.

I think if one wanted to nominate the most popular security applications at Wilders (according to this thread) Sandboxie would easily be the first, followed by MBAM, Shadow Defender, Hitman Pro and AppGuard. I'm surprised about Defense Wall, I would have thought it was more popular (perhaps being 32 bit only might be the reason).

It's what you should be running. http://www.sandboxie.com/

Sandbox your browser at least, and maybe your download folder. Check the delete contents automatically box. You will lose whatever you didn't save to the computer during the browsing session, but you will learn to save the stuff you need before closing Sandboxie. If you are running 64bit, there is the Experimental setting. Ask if you need any help, as you can see lots of people here are using it, for good reason.

Because my bros netbook is quite laggy even without AV's if we add EAM to the formula it becomes LAG and on top of this we add my bros allergic reactions to pop ups it becomes a time bomb.
