    That's what I thought. :D

I can understand why they want to expand their business but this is where the road downhill started for Acronis...

WTF is wrong with Raxco and all this prefectcrap...
Stopped using PerfectDisk quite some time ago when they started turning into a copycat company rebranding more or less useless stuff...

Because raxco.com is neither a malicious nor fraudulent website.

I agree with you but why dump PerfectDisk? It's not a bad product, i just won't buy their other products. Thats all. Sorry just this attitude is strange for me.

BitDefender are degrading themselves with all those Acronis, Raxco, etc., rebranded antiviruses.

As to the comments about calling it PerfectAntivirus, a Raxco support person told me "it's a brand thing", but could see the points I raised regarding the name being something rogue software authors would use.

I don't see anything wrong with this partnership.Seems quite reasonable getting bit-defender and perfect-disk 12 home premium free for $29.99.I cant say Id use either ,but both products have their merits ,and the consumer benefits ,by the lower combined pricing
