paragon backup and recovery 2011 free

I have XP home with SP2 and 3 My harddrive is 150GB with 31GB used I have tried to download this program without success
I left it running and it took 8 hours to complete backup to a 1TB external drive when I looked at the external drive there was a file called system backup task
but it was empty I was very surprised at the time taken is this normal

No, it should have taken less than a half hour.

I don't really understand what you did since you said you couldn't download it. Does this mean you tried to execute the download file?

Anyway you need to download and install the program first if you haven't done that.

Thanks for reply Sorry I did not make it clear I downloaded it OK and ran it but it did not backup althought it appeared to do so but the system backup file is empty I thought the time was excessive Any ideas what the problem is?
