What registry keys to protect?

Hi!

So, I'm toying around with registry protection in Online Armor. Do you lads know what the most important registry keys to protect are?

So far on my list:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\*

I'd appreciate any suggestions for improvements and a motivation why it's important to protect the registry keys you're suggesting.

Maybe you should go check out Comodo. See what's in its protected registry. I think it can be a good reference.

Most registry monitors are based on registry lists developed by Hojtsy, Tony Blair, & friends many moons ago.

For an update, download freebie Registry Watcher & take a look at the registry items that it monitors.
