Default google links being misdirected

Not sure if the is correct forum so if moderator wants to move it fine.

I started using spywareblaster today searching for something that is causing misdirect links when using google search with FF6.
if I click on link I'm taking to a site beginning with
63.209.69.107 or put an * in place of 107
if I again hit google search it takes me back to google links page and if I hit same link it takes me there.
Doing a search for 63.209.69.* I'm told to
With so little information, it is difficult to speculate on the cause, but
it may be that your 'Hosts' file has been modified by the same virus that
has caused, at least, some of the other problems you have been
experiencing.

To check this theory out, locate the file :

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

...and open it in a simple text editor such as [edit.com] or Notepad.
Delete everything in this file except for the following line that should be
at the very beginning ;

127.0.0.1 localhost

...then save and close. There should be only this one line in your Hosts
file, unless you have either SpyWareBlaster or SpyBotSD installed on your
system.

and what I see are lots of spyware 127 addresses.

would you know what is causing these misdirect links. You can do your own search in google and there are lots of others with this problem going back years. I don't use google chrome just FF and TB
thanks
