Default Zemana Antilogger fails

I visited a website which turns on my webcam, but Zemana didn't warn me about my webcam turning on and didn't stop it from turning on.

So what good is Zemana?

Btw, I am using Zemana 1.9.2.515

ok I tried to visit the site you mentioned and got a prompt from adobe flash asking for permission..allow and deny.. so you can just deny it from there I think..

Zemana is not like a webcam version of an anti-executable program... it doesnt simply block all access to the webcam lol.

You either have a Flash LSO permitting sites to use the camera or you clicked OK when the site prompted for it. Neither is the behavior Zemana would challenge since Adobe Flash is not a Webcam logger.

Zemana Antilogger Fails. Not!

If you have to ask... well, then Zemana just isn't for you. Best to just place a piece of duct tape over the lens.

BTW, that site wants alot of connections to IP addresses with ports in the high five digits, like seventeen to likes of 88.242.214.50:53724 and four connections to an 8081 proxy. Not necessarily malicious but way too intrusive for my delicate sensibilities.

Shouldn't Zemana warn you though?

And if you allow, Zemana doesn't say anything to that either.

How come?

Be warned, while sticky paper protects against cockroach bit nibblers, it is subject to atmospheric pressure float-bys as well as air temperature attack vectors. Duct tape is immune but unfortunately still subject to rodent gnaw ware.

You can moon the web cam, that may scare them away if you catch my drift. But really you can just cover or rid of web cam and be done with it.

I found creepy that everyone who owns a laptop, must have a web-cam and a micro connected to the web... looks like the "Big Brother" arrival...

I've black tape in the web-cam and a isolator in the micro, is more effective than any software IMO.

no way you can disable the built-in cam and the mike thru device manager or bios or something? i suppose there's gotta be a way to do that.

You can do it of course, but I don't know if malware or key/webcamloggers have the ability to turn it on again, even if they do, it'll probably be a small percentage, so you should still turn them off. If you don't use them at all I guess you could also uninstall their drivers from device manager.

64 bit Zemana has only a few modules active, there was supposed to be a fully working x64 version at the end of July, but I guess it's delayed.

Nope you can't because if he gained access he can enables it
i've been fighting for this right with Asus For a while but they are not listening
why do hardware companies Remove Physical Protection From their Product
i love those laptops with a small Switch which allow to enable the cam or mike
on my desktop i have a Mic + web cam and I'm sure it wont get hacked because of the switch " you still can Get hacked Paranormally "
same thing for Bios protection but people not listening

i will add something that will disturb you you can't know if there is something recording from your mike and when you connect to the internet it sends it logs
sound with an Low Bitrate Like .amr can records hours in couple of megabytes
