    Finally ESET has set a good implementation of the Cloud computing model for even better performance. :isay: I would expect the same in terms of on-demand scan speed and protection.

    I think this "performance test for security suites" must be taken into account for the summary awards.

    They aren't released yet, to the general public anyway. This happened on last year's tests as well. They are given copies of the RTM before we are. I wish they would just release them to the beta testers or the advanced users that want them.

    Well BitDefender was only Advanced, but it still did much better than last year.

    Hmm. Out of the three tests so far, Webroot got a standard, a tested, and N/A for the retrospective. They are also 4th to last in the dynamic test. Hopefully their acquisition of Prevx helps; otherwise they ruined a great product.

    F-Secure may run quite a few processes, but from my experience and now facts it does not slow you down and have very good protection :)

    True, having many processes gives you the feeling that a program is heavy. Another example is AVG. However F-Secure is indeed not that heavy, although it is quite slow at boot up.

    I think some products "feel" lighter while not actually being so, while some others are heavy despite not feeling so in general use. For example, in my experience, PC Tools always felt more responsive but also took up more CPU compared to AVG.
