Default Installing software from recovery disk

Hi, my HP DV6 laptop came with cyberlink Power director pre-installed. But I uninstalled this software along with some other software. Now I want to reinstall Cyberlink power director again. Is it possible to reinstall this software from my windows recovery disks without formatting the whole OS?

Your DV6 would have had a folder on the hard drive with all your drivers & programs in it (SWSetup). If you haven't deleted it, you should find it in there. If you deleted this folder, you're in for a reformat/ reinstall.

Thanks Richo, your tip was very helpful. Now I can use the power director again. Thank you very much.
