I have downloaded the Beta version of ESS 5 and it is working great with no major problems. I have a question though, I notice that the expiration date on the home page is 08 19 11. Is this the release date of the regular ESS 5 version or how do I get that date extended for continued trial use?

the regular trial (not beta) is a 30-day trial - if you want a longer trial, you could contact a local reseller and ask - there are longer trials available, but these trials of the release, not BETA, which has a different way of doing things.

I am inquiring on the posted expiration date of the BETA VERSION, not the standard paid version. Once the BETA VERSION has expired (from the posted expiration date on the home page), is the customer able to extend the trial time of the BETA VERSION? Thank you

Once the product has been officially released, this should cause the beta licenses to expire. At this point, you can sign up for a 30-day trial period in order to extend the license. After that, you'll have to purchase a new license.
