Default Error and do I need admin rights somehow?

Hi,

Whenever I do an on demand scan, say from the context menu, I get this error on all files:

C:\Users\Joe Lore\Downloads\"filename".exe » NSIS » StdAfx.h - decompression could not complete (possible reasons: insufficient free memory or disk space, or a problem with temp folders)

I have NONE of these problems yet I still get this error.

Why does this do this? Do I need to somehow give on demand scanning Admin Rights (see other post) or is there another fix?

Thanks,

Joe

NM Figured it out. Permissions for "users" group was not set to write in the temp folder

You can use Process Monitor to monitor the file operations while scanning the file. Filtering ekrn.exe will show what folder ekrn is unable to write to.
