Default 32bit or 64bit?

Which should I choose?
I have 1GB RAM. My computer can run 32/64 bit.

For 1 gig 32 bit. 64 bit can not run on 1 gig.

32-bit for sure. 64-bit doesn't give you any benefits on that much RAM.
