Default NTFS drives not recognized in Paragon NTFS 9.0.1 under OS X 10.6.7

I am trying to use Paragon NTFS 9.0.1 on an Early 2011 Macbook Pro running OS X 10.6.7.

I have three different NTFS drives I'm trying to use in OS X; my Bootcamp partition, an external hard drive and a small USB flash drive. None are recognized by Paragon NTFS. The "Available NTFS partitions:" list is empty. All three drives show up in Disk Utility, but when I try to mount them, it says "Mount failed" and "The disk “BOOTCAMP” could not be mounted." The external hard drive worked fine with Paragon NTFS on my old Macbook Pro, but not on this one.

How can I fix this?

I fixed it by removing /System/Library/Filesystems/ufsd.fs/

What a waste of a night.
