Hello,
I am using ESET Smart Security 4.2.71 which I think is the latest version. Sometimes I receive an alert from Startup Scanner about a .dll which I know is not a virus. The message is "probably a variant of SC.A.gen virus" I would like to exclude this dll from all folders in all ESET clients. I tried to exclude the file using Remote Administrator policy manager from ESET Kernel -> Exclusions setting but with no success. Is there any way to exclude this dll file from all ESET clients using ESET Remote Administrator without touching the clients? |

Please submit the dll in an archive protected with the password "infected" and something like "Probable FP" to samples[at]eset.com. If you know what application the file belongs to, enclose this information, too.

Thanks for the answer.
I will send the dll for analysis but I would also like to know if there is a method to create the exclusion globally using ESET Remote Administrator policy manager. |
