Should Windows 7 failed to boot on my Desktop PC, how would the backup saved inside the Backup Capsule be reached in order to restore the OS and make it boot?
In my limited view it sounds like the chicken and the egg conundrum I dont understand the rationale behind it. Could anyone explain the basics for me? I have read quite a bit of the User manual for 'Backup & Recovery 2011 (Advanced) Free' and I do not understand the way to do it. Thank you kindly |

There are 2 ways to do that:
First, you can create a recovery media. Should've been obvious as soon as you open the program, because it alerts you about that. Then boot off the CD or USB, and you can restore, backup, etc. Second, you can boot from the backup console itself. To do that, manage the backup console and change system recovery options. The rest should be self-explanatory.
