Default is this site safe/legit? (mac os x related)

hey all,

i just started using my sisters old macbook, and i am trying to do some research and see what the normal processes are for mac os x in Activity Monitor(apple's version of task manager).

and i found this site which has a good description of each process in mac osx.

im just wondering if this site is safe because the web layout and the site in general looks kiddish and could there be some kinda malware exploits when visiting this site without me knowing giving my macbook virus or malware?
