Default Uninstaller for ESET 5 and some issue

So far,I did not face any serious issue yet but JUST WANT TO KNOW how can I remove EAV 5 completely from my computer? Is there any uninstaller tool for EAV 5?Besides,may I know how does the HIPS works? What mode do you recommend for me?Learning mode? Finally,I realize that the start up file check did not run after the reboot even my laptop is not in battery mode.Thanks.

If you have problems uninstalling v5 using standard means let me know. As for HIPS, I'd suggest you use automatic mode so that you get no pop-ups. As for startup scans, they are now delayed and are run a bit later when the CPU utilization calms down.

In automatic mode with rules all but pre-defined operations that might have adverse effect on the system are allowed.

I don't know what rules they are, they were configured by the developers based on the knowledge of malware and the ways it affects the OS. Of course, these rules will be updated automatically as necessary.

I would try reinstalling the older version and then install the beta over that.

Have you tried running the ESET Uninstall tool in safe mode?
