Cudni, thanks for information. Could you however reedit thread tile and change URL placed there to some text (e.g. change URL to Panda Security Hacked - Data leaked).

Indeed and if it this proves out true, it shouldn't come as any surprise since those same hackers no doubt have been zeroing in with some conviction on Panda for some reason for quite a while given the last attempt that was made.
Remains to be seen what becomes of this.

As far as I know Panda has been hacked a few months ago?!

That's pretty lame. Hacking AV companies because they work with police and law enforcements.
![]() If they really need to take down every AV company that works together with law enforcement, there won't be any more left. Get real hackers, everyone in security business has a hidden law enforcement calendar, even YOU euhm "anonymous" hacking groups. |

it looked to me like it was just a web server, but we won't know until panda issues a press release or official statement. no real sense in discussing it til then, imo.

Didn't they claim this before and Panda denied it? Did they get hacked again or is it for real this time?

yeah, i think that's what happened last time- they claimed they "hacked panda", and panda denied it. it's way too easy to fabricate the info they posted on pastebin for me to believe it just yet. |

Yes, it's easy to fabricate such claims. OTOH, it's just as easy for the company to deny or whitewash such an incident when it does happen. We've already seen several instances of companies denying the extent of a hack, even when it puts others at risk.

Last time the marketing server was hit, I wonder if this list is the same as the last. Glanced over it and it looked like the same list last time but not sure.

Why Not, its not just website, they have displayed passwords too, thats not as easy, especially when you are an AV company itself. ![]()

assuming it's legit (still hasn't been proven)- webservers run web applications and are often prone to exploitation. bad passwords are also prone to exploitation. neither of these things are particularly difficult to leverage. if there are no/incomplete mitigation measures in place, it's even easier. so, no, just because they're an AV company doesn't make it any more or less impressive. |

A) This news is incorrect. Panda has not been hacked again. For some reason some people are promoting the spreading of the news from the incident earlier this year. In that "hack" earlier this year they got access to an outside server which had blogs and marketing landing pages, not Panda HQ.
