    As the article mentions, Dutch police (High Tech Crime Team) have done something similar already when taking down the Bredolab botnet last year.
    Infected users got a warning at login about the malware installed. link.
    Wouldn't be surprised if different law enforcement agencies worldwide want to set precedents like this.
