Default SafeOnline and FTP

I noticed that on FTP sites the SOL tab is blue-colored, probably meaning that protection is on low, like default for HTTP, but I can't set a default for FTP sites, manually adding them is possible, but I'm having problems with wildcards, for example, when visiting ftp://devbuilds.kaspersky-labs.com/ and clicking add protection, the URL is inserted correctly among the custom URL list, but when trying to manually add ftp://*.* to the list it changes to *://ftp://*.*/* when clicking add and it doesn't protect a when visiting a FTP site.

FTP isn't on the list for SafeOnline I just have a feeling FTP sites don't need protection? SafeOnline is for Protecting one's Online Credentials and Passwords!

This is correct - FTP will probably have numerous issues when trying to add it as we don't support FTP (and don't plan on doing so as it isn't a secured protocol which would require the submission of websites/banking information).

Yeah, it's not really needed but I thought when the protection is low, malware might use that to hijack the browser but then I remembered that if you visited another website before that which has high or max protection for example, then the protection will stay on high or max till the browser closes.

And as soon as you visit a protected website, it "un-hijacks" any malware that may have injected itself into the browser

The protection is more accurate now - it is able to track if secured content still exists within the browser session and will only lower protection when it sees it is necessary.
