Using NOD32, but have a few corporate monitoring programs like SpectorSoft and an old copy of WinWhatWhere that I want to keep - how do we permanently have NOD32 ignore these files?
I can't keep scanning daily and have to manually uncheck all my copies - it's a bit of a pain! Thanks if you can build-in an option for this. |

Keylogging software programs like SpectorSoft may be flagged as a potentially unwanted application as well as the other you mention.
You may configure EAV not to detect potentially unwanted apps, however, this is not recommended.

I think NOD32 configures their product a bit too loosely by default - maybe they should run an initial setup program where we don't have to get into the nitty-gritty of everything! (In addition to allowing us (in advanced mode) to select programs/files we consider "safe" or at least not to be quarantined/deleted! (specific files only, not "types of")) |
