Question Audio extraction

I cannot remember the name of the app. now, but there is a Ruby for Rails app. that runs natively on Linux that purports to extract exact audio music like EAC or dBpoweramp. Has anyone used this app.?

It works just fine and Grip or EAC in Wine.
