Hi guys,
Was pinted your way on a recent ESET trainng course I was on so I'd though I'd come and join and get involved! I have rolled out the RA console & server here and I am having two issues so far. The first being that the clienst are reporting the worng operating system in the remote install tab. They are Windows 7 machines and are being reported as Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008, They are being reported as Windows 7 Professional in AD though. The other thing is the remote registry service on the client machines. When I set it to Automatic on the clinet machine, the rmoet install doesn't work. however, when I set the service to manual, it goes without a hitch. I was just thinking of leaving it swithed on in the client machines so i can push out future builds without going back to the client machines and checking to see if the service is in a started state. Any help tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Phil |

If the operating system information is incorrect, then perhaps try removing the client from the client list, and then allow it to reconnect, to see if the information updates correctly.
If the push installation is working with Remote Registry service set to manual, then it should be ok to leave it like that.
