If Sourcefire really wanted to get that name in there they could have. The whole "remember who owns you" trick usually works pretty good.;)

It's available now from Immunet's website. I downloaded it to my XP test-mule, and will play with it for awhile.

I know very little about Immunet. Is it just another cloud AV? It seems like I remember seeing some high detection scores with Immunet, but I do not remember who conducted the test. Was it MGR? Can it be used along side another AV like Prevx?

Can Immunet be used along side another AV like Prevx? Does Immunet only use it's own cloud AV or does it also use other scan engines?

I'm checking out now. One bug/FP, they detected CCleaner (slim build) as a virus, yet allowed me to run it anyway.

The tool is called sigui.exe - search your program files folder. It could be only users who updated ClamAV 2.0.19.8 (Beta 2) to Immunet 3.0 using the app's resident updater has it. There seems to be some confusion right now as to what to download from where to update/install whatever.

I used to run the free version of ClamAV for Windows just for the heck of it. I decided to pay for the pro version (only software I've ever paid for besides Revo Pro 64 bit).....it was all downhill from there. It kept freezing my laptop & it was constantly disconnecting from the cloud on my desktop. I don't wanna sound like I'm killing Immunet prematurely but it may be a good idea done the wrong way.
