    Hello,

Press ctrl, alt and del to bring up task manager. then end these processes.

    C:\WINDOWS\wt\updater\wcmdmgr.exe
    C:\windows\msbb.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\iefeatures.exe
    C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer\optimize.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe

You are running hijackthis out of a temporary directory. Can you please create a folder in My Documents and call it Hijack (or something similar). Then extract hijackthis into the folder you have created and run it from there. The reason for this is that Hijackthis cannot create backup files whilst it is being run from a temporary folder

    When you have done this, then make sure all browsers and windows are closed except for hijackthis and put a check against the following and click 'fix checked';

Reboot in SAFE MODE and Show Hidden Files/Folders.

    Find and delete (if found),

    C:\WINDOWS\wt
    C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\SahAgent.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\ISA.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\sysupd.exe

Reboot and post a fresh log

    Hi BIGDOG196,

Before you start with subratam's fixes, please do the following.
Remove the SAH Agent (Shop at Home Agent) via the Add or Remove Programs Control Panel first. After you have done that, proceed with sub's fixes and then post a new HJT log.

    Regards,
    Kent

On my win98 box, running the delete programs dialog for sahagent
gave me a neat little message that "It had been shut down and would
be deleted at the next restart". any best on what happaned when I
    rebooted? Still there ! #$%^#%$^

Manually deleted the files, kill off the run command in regedit
Bye bye shop at home agent..

can any one tell me why there isn't a law against this junk??

    best
    Z
