Default Noob question

Hello, just a quick question, if you don't mind. I have installed the free version of Backup & Recovery Free Advanced.
My pc already has a built in recovery partition.
I have already used the windows 7 built in tool to create a system image. This program, automatically ticked the box 'C' and another 100mb partition called system reserved.
Whan I use Backup & Recovery Free Advanced, do i need to check this ' 100mb system reseved box ' ?
I've read, this small partition is very important to windows 7, but I don't know if I need to include it in the back up.
Sorry for the ignorance. Any advice much appreciated
