Hi folks. I'm desperate. After searching the web for my question, I'm turning to you experts! I just downloaded Tor and have been spending several hours getting to know the features. I want to download a file, but when I try, I get a message that says: "An external application is needed which could compromise your identity." Huh? I'm using Firefox and would really like to be able to download a file from Megaupload, Rapidshare, etc. Any ideas/suggestions/input? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, guys.

It means the external application will access the file directly and not via tor nodes. I wouldn't worry about it for 99% type downloads sitting there
