Hello,
Please, enlighten me on these codes of yours. What does ess and eav stand for? While trying to download smart security, I got a set up with ess_nt32enu.msi and while trying to download set up for NOD32, I got eav_nt32enu. I now made payment for SMART SECURITY, the username started with EAV, is that not meant for NOD32 anti virus? I thought that my Eset Smart Security username should have started with ESS- Also, how do we determine the VALIDITY PERIOD ? |

Irrespective of how the user name starts you can use both it and the password to activate either software (because you bought ESS licence it is interchangeable with Nod32 but not vice versa).
see for licence http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN569

Thanks,
I just want to be sure that I'm using Smart Security. Please, how do I establish the validity period of my smart security? |

Thanks,
Your response was helpful but my validity can not be established. May be it because I just added it. I will try it again later. |

If you just purchased it, it will be few hours before it "takes" across the servers
