Default What is the difference??????

I'm sure this has been asked at least once before, but is there any differences between the Trial and Commecial versions of NOD32? I picked up a used computer with NOD32 installed, but don't know what it type it is. How do I know

TIA
Rick

Trial evaluation version is good for thirty days. Registered version must have a current valid license, user ID and password in order to download updates (signature definitions and program updates). (Typically the license has to be renewed usually annually and I suspect but don't know for sure that it might not be transferable.) Other than that: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=27288

NOD32 For Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 - Internet support
Version: 2.000.9

And I have:

NOD32 for Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 - Standard component
Version: 2.000.9

Operating system information

Version of common control components: 5.82.2800
RAM: 1023 MB
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2991 MHz)

Why don't I have Internet Support Version 2.000.9 like you? Everything else is the same. (Except I don't have a smilie in place of the number 8 at the end of the archive support module version). I take that back! Why is this software putting the cool smilie in place of the number 8?

What do others have? Does everyone have 2.000.9 except me?

Hello people,

NOD32 Internet support version 2.000.9 is the latest version.

Mele20 --- you'll need to re-download & install if you want version 2.0009.

Ronjor --- you've probably already done this within the last week.

Cambox --- your NOD32 looks like a Trial Version.

Regards,
Bandicoot.

Now when did that happen? I just did the renew..download..and install March 20th, but I have the same Internet support version 2.000.8 as Mele20 does.
puzzled look.

So how did you get your Internet support version 2.000.9 Bandicoot? Did you recently install a new version, or was there a notice or something we missed?

Hi Mr. Dragin,

Well as I said in my post if you downloaded NOD32 in the last week (as Ronjor probably has) you will get 2.000.9. You say you downloaded on 20th March so you will have 2.000.8. The only difference is there's a couple of fixes been added, but nothing earth moving to worry about. This version will be incorporated in the next NOD32 full update which will be unleashed in the next 1 to 2 months.

So don't worry, you haven't missed anything. The only reason I've got this version is because I work for Eset in Bratislava!

If you really, really want it, just download again and re-install. Your username and password will still be good.

Best regards,
Bandicoot.

Ah ha! Well then, I'll just wait for the next release....I'm getting lazy.

Thank you for your reply,
