Default Any Rollback RX 9.1 on Win7 user here ?

Hi,

I have recently got a HP 210 mini PC with Win7 starter installed. I am looking for a light instant recovey solution like Rollback.

In the past, Rollback had the bad reputation of filesystem corruption. I'd like to know if these issues are now solved with the latest 9.1 version.

Anyone with a live experience on this, with Win7 ?

Thanks.

I'm using RX 9.1 with Windows 7 with no problems for half a year now
Truth of the matter is that I've been using the software on my other machines for years now and never had any issues

I have used RollBack Rx 9.1 on several systems. My experience:

-On single HDD system, no problem at all. It works very well as advertised. Do not forget to add some application to protect your MBR, as MBR changes/corruption may render your system inoperative.

-On dual HDD system, do not try it without full backup of both HDDs. It screwed my productive system HDDs but luckily, I recovered totally by using a very helpful program.

Thanks. Do you observe any slow down or increase disk access since RX was installed ? I used an old version of RX (V6?) on a XP machine a while ago and this was very noticeable.

Thanks. Do you have any MBR protection tool in mind ?

WTF 2.0 is virtualization product like Returnil, Deep Freeze, and Shadow Defender etc. It is different from RX. With WTF, you cannot test software that needs restarts. For my needs, WTF is the best. WTF also include MBR protection.

No. On reboot, every change is gone if you are in Freeze mode.

I tried it on Windows 7 quite a while ago and it gave me nothing but trouble like BSODs and etc. Acronis works better on Windows 7 imo I have never had a problem with it
