Hi,
Started having update problems so I uninstalled Nod32. When trying to install again-Installalation stops with message"Installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory C:\programs\Eset\Eset Nod32. Log on as admin. This is with win7-64 bit. I am the admin and only user. Any ideas? Thank-You, Ted |

Do you have problems installing other progs as well? Same message, if yes? You might have to take ownership of the whole drive

Thank-You so much. It took 2 hours to take ownership of the C: drive. Too bad you can't just right click the C: to do this. Had to do every folder, but this worked.
Thanks again, Ted |

Cudni,
Started my computer up this morning and NOD32 failed to update again with the same original error can't create temp file. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall again and getting same error as before. Do I need to run take ownership again? Is doing a windows repair going to fix the error for good. If it means something, I tried to install disckeeper and I get the same priviledges error. Thank-You, Ted |
