I now have several machines that in the last 24-48 hours have all presented the same symptom as reported here: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=284060
However, I'm unwilling to uninstall and re-install on all the machines (as post #4 to that suggests), just because there is some bug in the virus def. When will this be resolved? I presume that this means my machines are no longer protected, and since it's through no fault of my own (unless allowing them to self-update is my fault), I expect Nod32 to self repair. As I added to that post, if rebooting fixed the problem, then I'd grumble and do it; since it doesn't, the software's broken and needs to be fixed. Please. |

Hi, i have installed ESET NOD32 4.2.64.12 (5521 Update) for Realtime Malware Protection and no problems here.
I havent installed any other security related or Realtime-OnAcess protection active processes. |

Export your current settings, assuming you are confident they work
However difficult you may find the process, please follow the instructions from the reply to post of mine that you have referenced. Post back your findings.
