Hello, I am about to trial one or two AV's. My win7 64 bit came with a Mcafee suite trial, which I will be removing.
Aready on my pc, I have MBAM pro and use Sandboxie pro. I noticed Nod has 32 & 64 bit programs. I am completely new to this 64 bit thing. So my questions are 1. Would both the 32 and 64 versions work on my pc ( sorry if that sounds stupid ) 2. If so, what benefits would i get using the 64 version 3. I see Nod has antispyware included, will there be any problems using MBAM pro and Nod AV 4 Lastly, I use Revo uninstaller.Do you recommend I use the uninstaller MCPR.exe (listed in your customer care ) to remove Mcafee, as I quite like Revo Uninstaller. Many thanks for your replies/advice |

1, no, a 32-bit ESET installer will install only on 32-bit Windows and vice-versa. You'll need to download EAV x64.
3, I heard about some issues with the full version of MBAV, not sure if it was causing a lockup in conjunction with EAV or whatever. |

*2) - Which version (32-bit or 64-bit) of ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus should I download?
32 bit versus 64 bit architecture *3) - MBAM FAQ's, supports both 32 bit and 64 bit machines. I have not heard of any issues of paid or free MBAM versions having issues with EAV, of late.
