    Hey all,

I use Paragon HD Manager 2010 Professional...when taking a live image, you can choose between Microsoft VSS or Paragon's Hot Processing to snap the image. Is one better or more reliable than the other? I've used VSS before...but have no experience with Paragon Hot Processing. Thanks!

Paragon Hot Porcessing is alternative to VSS. If VSS fails to start for somereasons, you can use Paragon HP for Hot Backup (without restart).

As far as I can say, Paragon HP is a bit faster than VSS and usually allows to backup withour restart if VSS fails to get full access to partition.

Additional advantage is that Paragon HP allows to backup FAT32 partitions in hot mode, unlike VSS which can not.
