    currently in Japan only . As the sun rises up in/from Japan :D

    Symantec Store Japan sells NAV and NIS '11 and trialwares of NAV/NIS 2011 are available on Symantec's servers.

    First build is 18.0.0.128 and with Live Update it will upgrade to a later one


    Hopefull , in 24 hours ... the rest of the world will see it , too.

    Good news I thought norton would be releasing the 2011 version late October but anyways they had very much stable product even during BETA:)

    Waiting for official worldwide release. It will be amazing to see its detection capabilities and performance in real world tests.

    Me too. I suppose that the whole product Dynamic Test will be some months in coming. That is the one I want to see.

    The 2011 beta ran real well on my laptop.

    PC MAG aslo release review much earlier. Norton is their editor choice for last 2-3 years.

    Well I managed to get ahold of the NIS 2011 English Release and so far so good. Runs smooth on this laptop running next to Prevx. It also seems faster then 2010 edition so far I'm liking it on here.

    No , it is not on the official US/UK and any other site except from JP (I have checked them ALL).

    Perhaps you haven't received the whole 70 Mb installer as an attachement and you got a download link , which you could potentially share , please ? :rolleyes: :D

    It is technically ready and available on few languages , not just English but the marketing worldwide release it not ready yet. I wonder why just Japan but ... In the German site there are a few notes about v2011 and on the German forum there is a presentation video of NIS 2011

    Actually, Yes it is the Release and no I'm not going to go into how I have it. For both N-Av and N-IS is around 175 megs. :cool:

    Please keep in mind you have no idea what I do for a living or what I have access to. ;)
