I was running the latest version of ess. Then I installed the latest eav without uninstalled ess.
When things were done, I found the firewall component and spam mail component still existing. how could that be? are they working continually? I don't need them. ths for the answers.

I dont think a "upgrade" from ESS to EAV is really supported since those are two different products. I find it weird the the setup would have allowed such installation.
Think you need to uninstall EAV and then reinstall it to solve this. |

I would have logically uninstalled the "suite" first...and rebooted, before installing the pure AV.
