Possible problems with eset mobile security on Symbian phone (Nokia E71)

I installed the latest mobile security cleint on my Nokia E71 the other day and everyting appeared to be okay. I have, however, noticed that my internet browser (built-in one) seems to crash the phone on a very regular basis. About one in every 3 browser sessions the phone will restart. There does not seem to be any specific website.

I cannot be totally sure it is the ESET that is causing the problems however I did not notice crashes before its installation.

I am happy to turn on some form of debugging if it helps ESET. my version is 1.1.11 DB: 2.6

Same problem on my Nokia N95 (Symbian) with ESET Mobile Security BETA - phone reboots randomly while browsing.

 

This issue will be fixed in next (official release) EMS build. Thanks for feedback.

Thanks for the info.
Is there a date yet for this release?
Is this specific behavior a known issue then?
What will be the cost of the EMS build?
Will it be available NFR for resellers?


I have felt the need to uninstall it for now as it was crashing the phone so often.
