Not-for-Profit Freeware Website Needs Help!

You've seen me post links to www.oldversion.com before. It appears now, they've lost their extra bandwidth and the bell is tolling.

OldVersion.com has provided you with old versions of software for over a year now, and we have tried our best to compensate for our losses of bandwidth. We had found a provider that agreed to donate 100GB of bandwidth every month, but that host can no longer give us that.

Starting August 1st, OldVersion.com no longer afford a host to run our site, and that is why we need your help to keep our site up and running. If any of you have a fast host for which you can spare 100GB of bandwidth every month, please email us at <mail@oldversion.com> with the details.
For anyone else, it is critical that we have enough financial donations this month to continue our service. And, for anyone that wishes to advertise their service on our web site, please check out our advertising section and consider advertising with us.
It is crucial that our visitors help us in this time of need to make sure our service stands, and we can provide you with old versions of software. If you have anything that you can donate, it would truly help us.

It's a pitty indeed if non-profit sites would go under. 100 GB bandwidth a month isn't overwhelming - but on average does cost quite a lot of money, in case one wants a reliable and fast server. I for one do hope they'll find a way out!

Thank you Paul for agreeing with me! I wasn't quite sure if I could post this so I feel much relieved. I'm a little short this week so this was the best I can do until my next check. It would be a pity to lose this site as it is one of the few that have popular applications that do not contain any spyware. (They check for that.)
