Default recovery disk with SATA driver?

My XP has SATA drives and it's driver that was installed when I installed Windows.

Will the Recovery CD I make in BR 10.2 add this driver?
If not, when it boots, it will not see the hard drive.

Would I have to switch SATA to IDE in the bios to restore a drive, or is there a better way?

Default Re: recovery disk with SATA driver?

BR Recovery CD can't use Windows deivers, because it is Linux-based.
you can test if Recovery CD can see your Hard Drive.
If it doesn't try to switch to IDE mode.
If it still fails, create and use Bart'sPE Recovery CD.
