Hello everyone.
I use KIS for real-time protection, I know that Application Control(HIPS) can protect me from unsigned executable but what happens if a Malware with different format(.scr, .xml, .inf etc) runs and it couldn't detect by signatures or heuristic or even Behavior Blocker? I need to know that KIS Application control can protect me or not? if not which HIPS or security program can do that and block unwanted worm like this? ~Comment removed.~ any recommendation? Thanks in advance. ![]() Last edited by ronjor : June 25th, 2010 at 01:39 PM. Reason: Off topic comment removed |

Well HIPS is called Host Intrusion Protection so I don't see why not. It notifies you of any unwanted/unknown modifications being made.
