    I remember Max Secure AntiSpyware and it was very good antispyware.

    Well, it appears to be a "family-and-friends" founded company, so it can't be too bad......though I think the development team might be small and hence things on the development front might go slow.

    (*It's interesting that quite a few members in the management, directing and advisory team are alumni of the same institution :D)

    Tried this one out. Did almost as well as ESET in the tests I did. 15 0 day links. Not bad at all actually.

    Yes there are a lot, but when it comes to FREE AV there are only 3 you need bother with: Avira, AVG, & Avast...

    When it comes to paid AV again there are only a few worth using. Just stick to the top names, the ones that have proven them self over the years, after all why take a chance on anything less, when there are top names that have been around for years.

    For me personally if I was going to pay for AV I would just be using either Avira, NOD32, or Kaspersky, because I've seen what these apps have done over the years and continue to do, so really why pay for any others...

    It's no so difficult when you know who the winners are! ;)
