Should 3.1 be removed before installing 3.2, or is it okay to install over 3.1?

Hi,

Either method should work, but for the most problem-free installation please see the instructions at the bottom of the page here: http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/sbupdate.html

Best regards,

Netboot, Javacool, Davinci or anyone ...

Could you tell me how to install SpywareBlaster 3.2 please.

Do I need to uninstall my Webroot Spysweeper (free version) before I install?

Do I need to disable my AV while I install etc.,?

Please advice.

Chew

P/s: I am sorry to ask such elementary questions but I am trying to learn as much as I can now.

Turn on SpywareBlaster 3.1, remove all protection, turn it off, uninstall it, install version 3.2, enable all protection.

I don't know. Wait a minute, you mean the 30-day trial, don't you?

Dunno. Might depend on your AV, but I really don't know.

If you don't have a previous version installed, simply download the latest setup from http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/sbdownload.html and run it.

Nope - the two programs should co-exist peacefully.

You shouldn't have to.

It certainly isn't a problem - that's why these forums are here: to try to help everyone who needs help.

Hi,

I uninstalled 3.1 after disabling all protection. Then installed 3.2 with AV etc. on.
Then I updated 3.2 (yes!) and enabled all protection. No probs.

Javacool

Thank You, thank you, thank you!

I will just follow your instruction.

As for Webroot Spysweeper I don't know if it is a 30 days trial or something I just got it from here after desparate search to get rid or CWS nasties ... for a long time.

Again thank you for your advice.

P/s: I plan to learn every bit about computer from now on and I plan to build up the whole system bits by bits myself in future as a hobby ... I recently saw the cooling system for a PC Tower ... Gosh it retails at nearly £250 ... and that's only for the cooling system for home user.
