Default RunAs question

Since I've set up SRP for admin (properly this time ) I've noticed that the "RunAs" command has a rather interesting looking option... A checkbox, and next to it this text:

Code:
Protect my computer and data from unauthorized program activity

By default, it's checked.

Is this what I think it is, i.e. a way to run any program as limited via SRP? Or is it something else? if the former, very cool indeed.

Default Re: RunAs question

Well, to answer my own question... No.

What it does do is force a program to run with rather extreme restrictions. So extreme that some programs will not even start. Useful for running stuff of dubious vintage, I guess, but not on a day-to-day basis.
