Default x64?

I see alot of threads for x64 incompatibility. Does this mean malware has the same problem as the vendors? Are you safer with x64? Or is the baddies better than the good guys?

there is some incompatibility with some security apps (most of them working to resolve it), any you in have in mind particularly? malware has it should issues with x64 and bad guys are not better than good ones.
