is the ( eset ss ) poor against spywares ?

I think that protection against spyware isn't NOD32's strongest chapter.
But it does indeed protect against spyware as it says it should do.

But you can always have Superantispyware (SAS) incase anything slips through. Or Malwarebytes (MBAM) for that matter, as a backup.

Or save the effors of installing 1001st back-up security application and simply get a better protection . Why should one even buy ESET products when they should always be backed-up ?

The computer is to be used (by end users) . They shouldn't install more and more security software to back-up the initial one.

In today's malware climate, a single solution is not enough - you need multiple layers of protection, it's just the reality.

I agree with Swex. Spyware is not ESET's strongest area. Don't get me wrong. NOD 32 is an awesome antivirus, but i wouldn't rely on it alone. I've been using NOD 32 since 2002. I would use Prevx, Malwarebytes, or SuperAntispyware with it.
