Hi members.
Well, I don't know if this is normal or not. Of course ESS made a "Start up scan" when I first started the PC as always. And now after the PC has been on for 7 hours it does a "Start up Scan" again. So how come SweX

Hi,
I think it's because you left "startup scan file check" enabled in the scheduler, the one that's triggered by a successful database update. In this case, a startup scan can be run anytime the virus database is updated and not really at start-up.

Right I see.
Well maybe it should be called something else then, than START-UP scan when it scans at times other than at start up. Like (Update scan) after an update since I belive it scanned after the 4988 update that's why I noticed it. But I understand why now anyway, Thanks ![]()

You're welcome.
And I agree it's not very aptly named.
